Psalms 23 is one of my favourite scriptures and I tend to use it as a prayer.

I was on my own on the bus when a group of young black youths jumped on the bus making a lot of noise and throwing things at other people on the bus. One of the youth looked at me and screwed at me and another looked at me with quite a stern look. They whispered something to each other and then looked at me smiling. Whilst they were picking on the other commuters I recited psalms 23 and repeated verse 4. They went to come towards me but it was as if there was an invisible wall standing in front of me... I knew God was in control. After praying and believing the fear was all gone! Remember - there is power in your testimony! Revelation 12:11 says ‘We overcome our enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.

Continue to put God first... I also love Psalm 16 as well!
